Dino Wilson
Warnarringa (sun) (253-22), 2021

Opening on 29 July, Michael Reid Berlin is honoured to present the debut, international solo-exhibition by Dino Wilson. A finalist in the 2021 Telstra NATSIAA and the Michael Reid NEAP prizes, the bold yet balanced paintings of this Tiwi man speak to the depth of artistic creation present in Tiwi culture, and the sense of innovation and expression of its contemporary painters.

Wilson paints at Jilamara Arts & Crafts Association, and is influenced by his mother, artist Carol Black, and by fellow artist and mentor, Timothy Cook. A warm thank you to Dino Wilson and Jilamara for entrusting us with these remarkable paintings.

Opening soon in Berlin, we encourage those interested in the exhibition to contact the gallery now, at infoberlin@michaelreid.com.au.
