Born in 1975, Melbourne, Australia, Belinda Fox is a multidisciplinary artist based in The Hague, The Netherlands. Working across various media that includes printmaking, painting, ceramics and glass, her work is recognised for its technical accomplishment and beautifully poetic renderings that aim to convey a sense of fragility and imbalance in what seems an increasingly unstable world.
Fox considers her exhibitions as constellations and aims to bring a human connection to each presentation. Her works celebrate and question the polarities at play in an increasingly unstable world. The web-like pattern that feeds through many of her works creates a network that binds and embraces. The artist continually seeks to find the tipping point between the push and pull of truth and justice, hope and doubt.
Featuring collaborative works with Wilfred Kalf, Remi Wörtmeyer & Todd Fuller.
