Marc Etherington

9 - 24 Sep 2021

In a peculiar turn of events befitting Marc Etherington, An entire 2020 Berlin solo exhibition never arrived to the gallery. Somewhere between Alberta and Berlin the paintings up and vanished.

Marc’s brilliant response to this heartbreaking turn of events, formed this new series. This series features a hypothetical Canada Post Worker who has stolen Marc’s paintings and has placed them in the rooms of his desolate home. Paintings like ‘Wolf songs’ hang on the Post Worker’s walls… Just one of the lost paintings from the original Berlin exhibition.

Uncanny details haven’t gone amiss as Marc takes us on an imaginative journey of where his paintings may be… And what Marc would do if he ever found that Canada Post Worker.
