As anyone who has studied the basics of colour theory will know, colour is a science. The act of changing a hue or the amount of saturation can evoke entirely different impressions of colour. Beyond this, social conditioning influences our interpretation of colours and the meanings we associate with them.
For an artist, the playing field is seemingly endless.
Curated by Daniel Soma, our upcoming group exhibition, NOW IN COLOUR, brings together new work from Alesandro Ljubicic, Marc Etherington, Andrea Huelin, Ken Done, Kaspar Kägi and Luke O’Connor.
