The Golden Hour

Works from Lucy Vader‘s upcoming Michael Reid Southern Highlands exhibition have arrived at Michael Reid Sydney and are available to preview at the Chippendale Gallery before heading to Berrima.

With her intimate, highly gestural painting style, Lucy Vader’s sprawling paddocks are dotted with grazing animals. Her thick and gusty sweeps of oil paint break open to undercurrents of pure colour – like glitchy pastoral scenes glimpsed through rain or refracted bolts of light.

Works from The Golden Hour will remain at our Eora/Sydney Gallery for collectors to preview before travelling to Michael Reid Southern Highlands for exhibition. Those interested in previewing online are asked to email danielsoma@michaelreid.com.au
