Michael Reid Berlin is the permanent hub for Australian art in Europe. The gallery in Berlin has been established for 10 years, with a focus on presenting art by First Nations Australians. We remain the only Australian-based gallery operating in Europe.
Located in the central neighbourhood of Mitte and with an exhibition program that displays the best of Australian contemporary art, the gallery produces up to 10 exhibitions a year, and participates in art fairs and projects across Europe. Michael Reid Berlin is a gateway for European collectors interested in Australian art and the first port of call for Australian collectors visiting Berlin.

18th Lyon Biennale: Mai Nguyễn-Long
Mai Nguyễn-Long will exhibit a new iteration of her ongoing Vomit Girl project at the 18th Lyon Biennale. Curated by Catherine Nichols, this exhibition will spread across several emblematic sites in Lyon. The exhibition opens to the public on September 19, 2026.

Gerwyn Davies: Monumental
Gerwyn Davies's newest exhibiton is now open at Michael Reid Berlin. Making the self at once hypervisible and hidden, Davies’s images engage with the power dynamics of portraiture, exploring, in his words, “the potential for queer subjects to wrest greater control through perversions of visibility and the dictating of terms by which they are exposed.”
